Omer Goktekin

Dr Omer Göktekin, a ‎Cardiologist Professor of Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine, graduated from Siyami Ersek Thoracic Cardiovascular Center in 1997. He studied internationally at Saitama Medical School, Japan, St George's Medical, and the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. In 2003 he became ‎Associate Professor at Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, and then Professor in 2008. Since January 2009, and the "Stent for Life" Project lead in Turkey.‎

‎Dr Omer Göktekin areas of expertise and interest are Treatment of Chronic Total Occlusions, Transcatheter aortic‎ ‎valve implantation, Closure of prosthetic valve paravalvular regurgitations, and is involved in performing complex procedures such as the treatment of resistant hypertension with the non-surgical operation.‎
